Glenn helped us deliver very specific sales management objectives. Our business had enjoyed steady organic growth for a number of years but had a reliance on one large customer. We had very little in the way of professional sales systems that could take advantage of the opportunities created by his forthcoming marketing activities.
We contracted him to devise and implement a professional sales strategy that would equip the business to move forwards with a relatively inexperienced sales team. He also helped us also catch up on the backlog of sales opportunities that had accumulated. He implemented a new CRM to organize historical data, streamline the management of new sales opportunities, and create a semi-automated lead nurturing system that would represent the future sales pipeline for the business.
Glenn quickly implemented sales processes, the system was set up and operational with existing opportunities evaluated, prioritized and developed. He re-organized the engineering and development, and sales support teams to ensure that opportunities were engaged immediately and not allowed to drift. He personally & solely followed up all sales/marketing campaigns, LinkedIn connections, website inquiries & incoming email enquiries with calls, Team meetings and set up and attended 45 new customer meetings delivering a sales pipeline valued at nearly £700,00, some achievement on a very short space of time.
